The Switch’s Biggest Upcoming Games

With the release of the new Switch and Switch Lite, gamers will be happy to know that there are a range of new games hitting the market in 2019. These are five of the most anticipated titles that will soon be in the Switch’s library.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons

We finally know when Animal Crossing: New Horizons will come to Nintendo Switch after an agonizingly long wait. In March 2020, the next chapter in the famous and absurdly cute series will arrive, bringing with it a bunch of exciting changes, and we may have to enjoy our current selection of esports betting in Australia offerings before it releases. New Horizons brings us to a deserted island where we are going to form our own society of distinct city people, different buildings and a signature fruit for each and every city.

Bayonetta 3

With the original pair of games now available in all their glory on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo has once again stepped in to help finance and release a sequel in the exciting action hero series. Up to now little is known about Bayonetta 3, apart from an expectantly awesome teaser. Nonetheless, the cheeky, sexy Umbra Witch will again be starring as she defeats countless angels and demonic denizens. Hideki Kamiya, famed for Devil May Cry, Okami and Viewtiful Joe, is going to put on his directing shoes for this entry, so you can expect something just as lavish, if not more, than previous entries.

The Witcher 3L Wild Hunt

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt for Nintendo Switch is brought out by CD Projekt Red alongside both of its spectacular expansions. It sounds like a massive effort from the studio, and some noticeable sacrifices are being made to make sure that on Nintendo’s hardware can handle the otherwise hardware-intensive title.

With graphical adjustments made across the panel, it will run at a lower resolution to ensure smoother results. But judging by screenshots recently released, it will still capture the beauty and range of a world that we in this generation have fallen in love with.

Metroid Prime 4

With the exception of a few casual comments, Nintendo has remained very silent about Metroid Prime 4 since its very brief reveal trailer. We also know nothing about the setting, plot or even creator of the game at this time of writing, for that matter.

We hope the secrecy is justified and Nintendo is working hard on something really special for the Nintendo Switch. The last Prime adventure of Samus Aran was over ten years ago, so the intergalactic bounty hunter has plenty of fresh ground to cover.

Pokémon Sword And Shield

Nintendo eventually spilled the beans on Pokémon’s eighth generation of game. Players will take on the role of a young trainer on the continent of Galar who will embark on a quest to become Pokémon Champion. Many can’t wait to jump into Pokémon on Nintendo Switch with improved graphics, bigger worlds and a whole new continent to explore. And players will also be able choose from three adorable new starting creatures!
